About the role
We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals while maintaining safety and hygiene standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Determine portion sizes and calculate food costs.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Adapt dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and keep accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in a restaurant setting.
- Attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and strong teamwork skills.
