Cook – Restaurant & Bar

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cook to join our restaurant and bar team at The Canadian Brewhouse in Fort McMurray. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of international dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The role is fast‑paced, physically demanding and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, including international cuisine.
• Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances by preparing safe dishes.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
• Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and accurate records.
• Clean kitchen work areas and equipment regularly.
• Maintain a fast‑paced, high‑quality service environment.

• Client‑focused and dependable.
• Flexible, able to adapt to varying shift schedules (morning, night, weekend).
• Initiative and good judgement in a busy kitchen.
• Organized, reliable and a strong team player.
• Effective time‑management and ability to work under pressure.
