About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at WOWO Asian Homestyle Cooking in Corner Brook. The role involves preparing and cooking meals, supervising kitchen staff, and managing kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
Order supplies and equipment and maintain inventory records.
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient workflow.
Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
Manage overall kitchen operations and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation certificate.
3 to 5 years of cooking experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Criminal record check required.
Strong client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
