Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Controller will lead Alimentiv’s accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across a multi‑entity global structure. Reporting to the CFO, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of the full accounting cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations, journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign‑off financial data produced by the accounting team, correcting discrepancies before distribution to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of audit, regulatory and governance schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies, internal controls and risk‑mitigation procedures.
• Own the ERP platform – manage system administration, configuration, and continuous improvement to support accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements and supervise payables, receivables and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting functions in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and corporate financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month‑end/year‑end close cycles and coordinate external audits.
• Experience acting as ERP functional owner, overseeing system configuration and user support.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on internal controls and risk management.

Required skills

• Expertise in accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in ERP systems administration.
• Strong understanding of tax and audit compliance.
