Construction Site Superintendent

About the role

The Company is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead large‑scale ICI (Infrastructure, Civil, Industrial) projects. You will act as the primary on‑site authority, coordinating with the construction management team, architects, engineers, and all stakeholders to ensure projects meet client expectations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and successfully complete at least three large ICI projects independently.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, monitor the critical path, and identify scheduling efficiencies.
• Oversee subcontractors and material suppliers to keep work on schedule and to required quality standards.
• Produce daily site reports with photos, raise RFIs, and ensure all required inspections are completed.
• Review and approve timesheets for Time & Material work.
• Coordinate with local building authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain and update construction drawings for any field changes.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, including First Aid and WHMIS compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI projects.
• Gold Seal Certification and formal education are assets.
• Proven track record of independently delivering large projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and MS Project scheduling software.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Current WHMIS certification.
• Competency operating equipment such as aerial work platforms, skid steers, and zoom booms.
• Gold Seal Certification (asset).
