About the role
We are looking for a reliable Construction Helper to join our team at Colourwave Painting and Decorating Inc. in Winnipeg. You will support various construction activities on site, ensuring materials are handled safely and tasks are completed on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials, including concrete and asphalt.
- Clean and lubricate cranes and perform routine maintenance.
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline projects.
- Support framing, wall erection, and roof building for houses.
- Clean up chemical spills, remove rubble and debris, and pile salvaged materials.
- Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt as directed.
Required profile
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Physically demanding work with the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must wear steel‑toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles and gloves.
