Construction Driller – NOC 73402 (Driller 1)

About the role

BD Hall Constructors Corp. is seeking two experienced Construction Drillers to join their team in Langley, BC. You will operate advanced drilling equipment to create foundations and pilings for a variety of construction projects across the Greater Vancouver area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate air‑track and rotary drilling machines, including Gardner Denver 3800 top‑hammer rigs.
• Perform pre‑operation inspections and daily maintenance of all drilling equipment.
• Set up and run specialized rigs for hollow‑core anchors (IBO) and other foundation systems.
• Measure, stake out, and drill holes according to project layouts.
• Execute pressure grouting when required.
• Train, supervise, and coordinate drill helpers and labourers.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with safety and project specifications.
• Identify hazards and report safety concerns following company protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years verified experience as a construction driller on diverse ground conditions.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) on various job sites.

Required skills

• Operation of air‑track drilling machines.
• Operation of rotary drilling machines.
• Proficiency with Gardner Denver Air Track 3800 top‑hammer.
• Drilling with hollow‑core anchors (IBO).
• Pressure grouting techniques.
• Measuring and staking for drilling patterns.
