Concrete Finisher – On‑site Construction Role

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team in Calgary. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring concrete surfaces are placed, finished, and cured to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
• Directly place concrete into forms or onto surfaces, filling hollows and smoothing fresh pours.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface to grade specifications.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening, sealing, waterproofing, and damp‑proofing compounds.
• Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete sections.
• Prepare tenders, quotations, and cost estimates for materials.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in dusty, hot, noisy outdoor environments.
• Client‑focused communication, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork.
