Companion Caregiver for Elderly Clients

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate companion to provide in‑home support for elderly clients in Surrey. The role involves personal care, medication assistance, and friendly companionship to enhance the client’s quality of life. You will work directly in the client’s home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while respecting their independence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including assistance with mobility and daily living activities.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Change non‑sterile dressings safely and hygienically.
• Feed or assist in feeding, ensuring proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy living space.
• Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client preferences.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a non‑smoking environment.
• Willingness to perform light housekeeping and personal care tasks.
