Community Engagement Manager (British Columbia)

About the role

IREN, a vertically integrated AI cloud provider, is seeking a Manager, Community Engagement for British Columbia. Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement, you will nurture meaningful connections between the company and the local communities, aligning external initiatives with IREN’s sustainable and responsible values.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage a province‑wide community grants program supporting local initiatives that reflect IREN’s social impact goals.
• Plan and execute community‑focused events to strengthen relationships, raise brand visibility, and involve employees in community‑building activities.
• Oversee the establishment of local sponsorships and funding partnerships, ensuring alignment with corporate values.
• Collaborate with municipal authorities, non‑profits, and business partners to advance community projects.
• Represent IREN at public forums, speaking engagements, and external meetings.
• Coordinate internal engagement programs that reinforce the company’s culture of social responsibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community engagement, corporate social responsibility, public affairs, or a related field.
• Strong relationships with local government, businesses and non‑profit organizations in British Columbia.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Superior project‑management abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with public speaking and representing the organization externally.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for social impact and brand stewardship.
