Commercial Lines Insurance Broker – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a RIBO‑licensed Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to manage an established book of commercial and personal lines business while contributing to a collaborative team environment. The role offers independence in client management and the chance to earn additional commission by generating new business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and personal lines accounts from quote through policy issuance, renewals, endorsements and cancellations.
• Respond promptly to client, carrier and colleague inquiries, providing knowledgeable insurance guidance.
• Review risk information to confirm coverage accuracy and identify exposure mitigation opportunities.
• Communicate with insurance companies on behalf of clients to resolve coverage or service issues.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, earning commission on successful sales.
• Report new claims to carriers and assist clients with next‑step processes.

Required profile

• Active RIBO license.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Commercial and Personal Lines broker.
• Proven ability to manage and service an insurance book of business.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with solid organizational and deadline‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Active RIBO license.
• Experience with Applied EPIC.
