Clinical Resource Lead – Registered Nurse (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking two motivated Clinical Resource Leads (CRL) to join the Medicine Department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. The CRL will act as a clinical resource and role model for unit staff, supporting high‑quality patient care on a regular part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned inpatient care areas under the Patient Care Manager.
• Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care and nursing services.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for unit staff.
• Assume responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Patient Care Manager.
• Collaborate with other CRLs to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse, baccalaureate‑prepared, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in a medical‑surgical environment, including intensive care.
• Previous experience as a charge nurse.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias.
• Exemplary attendance record and compassionate, sound judgement.
• Ability to manage stress, adapt to shifting priorities, and lead change initiatives.
