Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations at our Vancouver facility. The role involves hiring, training and supervising cleaning staff, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards, and managing budgets and schedules. You will work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and maintain financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train, or arrange training for cleaning personnel to ensure a skilled workforce.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the cleaning team, monitoring performance and productivity.
• Inspect sites and facilities to verify that safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations, aligning expenses with organizational goals.
• Maintain accurate financial records for the department, tracking expenditures and revenues.
• Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operational integration.
• Establish and manage work schedules for staff, optimizing coverage and efficiency.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma).
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience supervising cleaning staff in a commercial environment.
