About the role

We are looking for a dedicated nanny to provide comprehensive childcare and household support for a family in Vancouver, BC. The role includes supervising children of various ages, maintaining a safe home environment, and assisting with daily household tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Travel with the family and assist with child supervision during trips.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods and promote personal hygiene.
• Organize games, outings, and educational activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children’s emotional well‑being and help with homework.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience, with 1–2 years of nanny experience.
• Bondable with successful child‑abuse registry, criminal record, vulnerable sector, and reference checks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, patience, and flexibility to work in a non‑smoking, scent‑free home.
