About the role
Clean Harbors is seeking a Class 1FM Driver to join its Sainte‑Catherine, QC site. You will operate trailers, semi‑trailers, container trucks and pump tankers to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste while supporting site restoration, decontamination and emergency response activities.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload hazardous and non‑hazardous waste safely, adhering to load limits and proper segregation.
- Follow assigned pickup and delivery schedules and maintain accurate daily logs, worksheets, timesheets, expense accounts, mileage and vehicle inspection reports.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times, wearing required PPE and acting safely.
- Perform occasional weekday and weekend work as needed.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with FM endorsement.
- Clean driving record with no violations in the past five years (SAAQ).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lb and work at heights of up to 2 ft.
- Own 8‑inch work boots and ability to wear respirators and coveralls.
- High school diploma preferred and basic proficiency in spoken and written English and French.
