Class 1 City P&D Driver - Brandon Terminal

About the role

The Manitoulin Group of Companies is looking for a professional Class 1 driver to join its Brandon operations team. It is an incentive-based position where efficiency and hard work directly affect pay, suited to a high-energy driver who likes a home daily schedule and enjoys active work.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently for a variety of local customers
• Plan, load and unload trailers to maximise route efficiency and cargo security
• Serve long-standing local clients professionally
• Maintain a clean safety record with thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and compliance with provincial trucking regulations

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean commercial abstract
• Previous city P&D experience is a major asset
• Comfortable with the physical demands of loading and unloading trailers
• Proven reliability and punctuality

Required skills

• TDG certification preferred
• WHMIS knowledge preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (training offered)
