Order Picker – 3 Month Contract (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Order Picker supports the Service Desk team by gathering, packing, and labeling merchandise to fulfill customer orders. This full‑time, three‑month contract position works in a warehouse environment and involves direct interaction with customers for order‑related transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and prioritize pick lists, gather merchandise throughout the store, and fill orders in a timely manner.
• Pack and label orders carefully to prevent damage during transport.
• Load delivery vehicles, handle curbside orders, and comply with safety regulations.
• Operate reach trucks and order‑picker machines to move freight safely.
• Perform basic POS sales and returns, answer customer calls, and read COM orders or notes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or distribution experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders up to 12‑16 ft, and work in a dusty, noisy warehouse.
• Commitment to Home Depot’s GET customer‑service model (Greeting, Engaging, Thanking).
