Civil Labourer – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Labourer to join our residential construction team in Campbell River, BC. The role involves supporting crews with excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks on multi‑family home projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist crews with manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials or equipment.
• Level and compact trench backfill around pipes and manholes.
• Support pipe layers in installing water, storm, and sanitary pipes.
• Perform construction clean‑up as required.
• Complete additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience in residential excavation, grading, and utilities is an asset.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Understanding of civil construction fundamentals is a plus.
• Commitment to completing tasks efficiently and safely while following company and safety policies.
