Civil Construction Student – Winter Semester (Jan‑Apr)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Student for the winter semester (January‑April) to support civil construction projects in the Fraser Valley. You will coordinate site activities, assist with surveying and inspections, and ensure accurate reporting while working closely with field teams and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules.
• Perform quality control assessments and project inspections.
• Compile and complete reports.
• Assist the Project Superintendent with crew supervision.
• Assist with site surveying and quantity measurements.
• Perform other labour duties as required.

Required profile

• Successfully completed or working towards a degree or diploma in civil engineering.
• Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel within the province for work assignments.
• Natural problem‑solving ability with clear communication skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts if required.
• Enjoy working outdoors in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Physically capable of walking on uneven terrain, climbing slopes, and carrying 20 kg.
