About the role

We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to provide comprehensive support in a private home in Edmonton. The role involves caring for infants and children, maintaining a safe household environment, and assisting with daily household tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for children, tending to their emotional well‑being.
• Cook meals for the household.
