About the role
We are seeking a compassionate child care provider to work in a private home in Surrey, BC. The role involves caring for infants and children while supporting the family’s daily routine.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and promote personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment and organize games, outings, and educational activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and attend to children’s emotional well‑being.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- Availability for morning, evening, shift, day or weekend schedules as needed.
Required skills
- Ability to supervise and care for children of various ages.
- Knowledge of basic child safety, hygiene, and nutrition practices.
