About the role

The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to guide the association through its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading a team of over 50 staff, the CEO will translate strategic plans into operational results while championing home ownership and vibrant communities across Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Implement OREA’s strategic plan and drive long‑term financial sustainability.
• Strengthen operational effectiveness and improve member value propositions.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson, building relationships with government, media, and diverse stakeholders.
• Lead change initiatives, ensuring the organization remains relevant in a rapidly evolving real‑estate sector.
• Foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture and support an engaged Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments such as associations, non‑profits, or regulated sectors.
• Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities across political and organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrated track record of strategic foresight, operational discipline, and financial stewardship.
• Leadership style grounded in humility, transparency, and service.
