Building Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Building Manager for a high‑rise residential strata property in North Vancouver. This full‑time position involves overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and resident relations for a 27‑floor building with 321 units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the site, including minor handyman repairs and cleaning of garbage/recycling rooms.
• Provide basic security duties such as checking doors, handling key and alarm responses, and monitoring parking violations.
• Coordinate move‑in/out logistics, collect damage deposits, and conduct pre/post inspections.
• Call and liaise with trades for elevator, plumbing, or emergency issues and submit activity reports to the property manager.
• Maintain consistent communication with residents, respond to inquiries, and address noise or smoking complaints.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility or building management, preferably residential (3 + years preferred).
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented with strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently, lift up to 35 lb, and handle occasional equipment such as leaf blowers and pressure washers.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience operating leaf‑blowing and pressure‑washing equipment.
• Basic key, fob, and intercom programming abilities.
