About the role
The Cell Phone Repair Technician will join Everything Wireless in Brampton to diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of mobile telephone equipment. You will work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure devices and network components operate reliably.
Key responsibilities
- Repair or replace defective telephone equipment and faulty cables, power supplies and amplifiers.
- Analyze test results, adjust or repair switching systems, network equipment and associated software.
- Install electromechanical, analog and digital trunking systems, circuits and related equipment in telecom central offices.
- Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
- Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets as required.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP education.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in telephone or mobile device repair.
Required skills
- Telephone equipment repair.
- Computerized testing system operation.
- Electromechanical installation of analog and digital trunking systems.
- Cable, power supply and amplifier troubleshooting.
