Cellular Telephone Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team in Brampton. The role involves testing, repairing, and servicing telecommunications equipment in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure reliable phone service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, then adjust, replace or repair the affected telecommunications hardware.
• Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment to verify proper functionality.
• Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware.
• Repair or replace defective telephone equipment as needed.
• Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.
• Determine the nature, cause and location of trouble and initiate dispatch of appropriate repair personnel.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in telephone installation and repair.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
• Team player who can distinguish between colours and perform a combination of sitting, standing and walking tasks.
