About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our Esso station in Manning, Alberta. The role involves handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Scan items, bag merchandise and receive payment for goods or services.
- Calculate daily/shift payments and reconcile them with total sales.
- Stock shelves and keep the counter area clean.
- Greet customers and provide courteous customer service.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and pay attention to detail.
- Accurate, excellent oral communication and flexibility.
- Team player who can work in a fast‑paced environment.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
