Residential Sales Specialist

About the role

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supply for roofing, siding, metal and building envelope, is hiring a Residential Sales Specialist in Windsor. The role drives revenue growth by developing and nurturing customer relationships, expanding market share and executing strategic sales initiatives. It suits a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills who enjoys customer-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of company products
• Grow new business and expand market share by offering solutions to current and future contractors, architects and customers
• Define, build, implement and monitor the sales plan, including strategies, targets and priorities
• Create action plans for sales targets and work with suppliers to execute them
• Educate customers and staff on products and manage customer sample and educational stock levels
• Manage customer payments and credit with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations and AR adjustments within set rules

Required profile

• College diploma or degree (Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3+ years of successful sales experience
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel
• Authorized to work in Canada

• Strong problem-solving ability, including handling difficult situations

• Salary of $65,000 - $70,000 (not including commissions)
