Canada Senior Payroll Analyst (Management Trainee)

About the role

Genpact is recruiting a Canada Senior Payroll Analyst (Management Trainee) to handle a variety of payroll operations functions. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse employee base, supported by ADP, and requires close collaboration with HR and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage end-to-end payroll using ADP.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting and payroll transactions.
• Proactively manage payroll calendars and make sure internal application data feeds into the payroll system before the deadline.
• Review and verify payroll data, including timesheets, commissions, bonuses and other compensation components.
• Handle payroll inquiries and support employees on payroll matters.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and seamless processing.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Generate payroll reports and analyse payroll data to support financial and accounting functions.
• Stay up to date on payroll best practices, tax laws and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Otis policies, procedures, external regulations and agencies.

Required profile

• Experience processing payroll.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, HR or industrial engineering.
• Fluent English.
• Preferred: excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines with attention to detail, and strong time management and organisational skills.
