Audit Analyst I (Entry Level)

About the role

PRGX, a provider of source-to-pay data analytics and software and tech-enabled profit recovery services, is hiring an entry-level Audit Analyst I in Laval, Quebec. The role uses client data to identify errors and recover revenue, and requires fluent French and English and Canadian work authorization without sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits using client data to identify errors and recover revenue
• Find, support and document audit and claims operations, and produce claims
• Bill claims to the client and update the claims management system
• Review contracts, agreements, paperwork and electronic documents, and inspect client financial information
• Provide claim backup information to vendors, package claims and contact vendors during claim production
• Produce written correspondence to vendor inquiries and meet the timing and deadlines of the audit cycle
• Analyze problems in the client's claims procedures and business operations, and meet the number and dollar-volume goals set by the team leader or management

Required profile

• College diploma in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and office experience
• Fluent French and English; authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable, merchandising, buying or audit is a plus; retail or grocery procurement experience is preferred

Required skills

• Computer proficiency in Excel and/or Access is a must
• Database knowledge (dBASE or SQL environment) preferred
• Problem-solving ability; strong mathematical acumen preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
