About the role

McGill University invites world‑leading researchers to apply for the Canada Impact+ Research Chair in Health, including Biotechnology. The position is a tenure‑track appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, focused on translating cutting‑edge health research into societal and economic benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ambitious, transformative research projects in health and biotechnology aligned with Canada’s strategic priorities.
• Build and manage high‑performing, interdisciplinary research teams.

Required profile

• Recent track record of outstanding research accomplishments in health or biotechnology.
• Currently residing and working outside Canada at the time of application.
• Eligibility for a tenure‑track appointment with promotion to Full Professor within two years.
• Commitment to start the position within 12 months of award acceptance.
