Cadet Primary Care Nurse – Summer Camp (Part‑Time)

About the role

Calian is seeking Registered Nurses to provide primary care services for youth cadets attending summer camps across Canada. This part‑time, seasonal position supports the health and wellbeing of campers by delivering routine medical care and responding to urgent health concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Run routine medical clinics and conduct health assessments for campers.
• Dispense medications and coordinate care with other health providers.
• Provide health education, first‑aid response, and mental‑health support.
• Monitor communicable diseases and implement infection‑control measures.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with camp health policies.

Required profile

• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the provincial college.
• Diploma or degree in Nursing.
• Flexibility to work 1‑8 weeks each summer, with the possibility of returning annually.
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Check and a Government Security Clearance (Reliability level).

Required skills

• Valid CPR‑C certification with AED proficiency.
