About the role
Join MAPLE KITCHEN CABINETS INC as a cabinetmaker, creating custom kitchen cabinets that maximize storage and meet client specifications. You will work in a fast‑paced workshop environment handling a variety of woodworking tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare specifications of custom‑made cabinets that maximize storage.
- Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made.
- Trim joints and fit parts and sub‑assemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
- Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking.
- Accurate, organized and efficient interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
