Business Consultant – Digital Transformation & Regulatory Systems

About the role

The Government of Alberta’s Environment and Protected Areas division is looking for an experienced Business Consultant to help enhance and modernise its Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS). Working in a hybrid setting, you will join an Agile team to drive digital transformation, gather requirements and support change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions and document business needs for DRAS enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop and implement enterprise applications.
• Support project execution through status tracking, issue and risk management, and Agile sprint coordination.
• Develop and deliver communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies and change‑management activities.
• Review test strategies, analyse issues and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business consulting, systems analysis or digital transformation within large organisations.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and manage stakeholder relationships.
