Branch Team Lead – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

Grainger Canada is seeking a proactive Branch Team Lead to support branch leadership and drive customer retention and financial results. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the Branch Manager and a small team of 2‑10 members in an Ontario location.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager and Supervisor in daily operations and workload distribution.
• Provide peer‑to‑peer coaching, onboarding, and ongoing training for team members.
• Prepare customer quotes, orders, returns and support company initiatives.
• Maintain open communication with internal partners such as Sales, Customer Service Centers, and On‑site Service teams.
• Drive key operational metrics related to customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety legislation.
• Support warehouse functions and assist with equipment operation as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of customer service and sales experience; leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong passion for customer service, sales, and people development.
• Ability to adapt to shifting demands and communicate Grainger’s vision.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle if driving is required (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to safely learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
