About the role
Orchard West, a real‑estate investment, construction and development firm based in North York, is looking for a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join its Toronto office. This is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and process daily transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and Visa statements.
- Administer payroll and employee health benefits.
- Handle HST remittances and credit‑card reconciliations.
- Support budget preparation and financial reporting.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
- Experience with AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ADP Payroll.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work on‑site in Toronto.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Real‑estate accounting experience is an asset.
