Bilingual Pharmacist – Full‑time at Ottawa Military Base

About the role

Calian is seeking a bilingual pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at Canadian Forces Base Ottawa (Carling Campus). The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday daytime hours, and supports the health and wellbeing of Canadian Armed Forces members.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medication accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on proper medication use, side effects, and adherence.
• Liaise with physicians to clarify orders and ensure optimal therapy.
• Maintain and review pharmacy inventory, ensuring stock levels and compliance.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with interdisciplinary health teams.

Required profile

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, with proof of education and national board examination.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least three years of recent experience (within the past five years) providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
