Beauty Specialist

About the role

Join a locally owned store to deliver health, beauty and convenience services to the community, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do. As a Beauty Specialist you will drive sales of cosmetics and provide personalized beauty consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales of beauty products and services, promoting promotional programs and the PC Optimum loyalty program.
• Provide consultative makeup and skincare advice, conduct sit‑down consultations and demonstrate product application.
• Book and promote in‑store events and appointments, using eClienteling to enhance customer relationships.
• Attend vendor training, workshops and maintain compliance with Cosmetics Operating Standards.
• Adhere to health, safety, loss‑prevention and store policies while maintaining a clean, well‑stocked sales floor.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making and strong judgment in a retail environment.
• Proven consultative sales experience in cosmetics with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first attitude.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders and bend/stretch to stock shelves.

Required skills

• Familiarity with eClienteling and the PC Optimum loyalty program.
• In‑depth knowledge of beauty products and ability to demonstrate makeup/skincare techniques.
