Barista – Luxury Retail Café

About the role

Join Holt Renfrew’s upscale café environment in Toronto as a Barista. You will craft high‑quality coffee and espresso beverages while delivering personalized service to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other café items according to Holt Renfrew standards.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, accurate presentation, and product freshness.
• Keep the coffee station, equipment, and service areas clean and organized.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems safely and efficiently.
• Restock beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed.
• Greet customers warmly, provide menu guidance, and share coffee origin knowledge.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
• Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• 2–3 years of experience in a café or barista role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
