About the role
KR Chandi Auto Repairs is looking for a reliable automotive mechanic's helper to support our technicians in Brampton. The position is entry‑level; no prior experience is required because full training will be provided. You will work on‑site in a busy auto‑repair shop, performing a variety of hands‑on tasks to keep the workshop running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Move tools, equipment and other materials to where they are needed.
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a tidy environment.
- Follow safety and security procedures, including undergoing a criminal record check.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking while standing or sitting.
Required profile
- Dependable and organized.
- Flexible with the ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, walking and other physical activities.
- Willing to learn on the job and follow instructions from senior staff.
