Automation QE - Java, Selenium & API Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. The role works closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Create automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
• Automate API testing with Rest Assured, Postman or Karate.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke and integration tests and analyse results.
• Identify defects and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide early quality feedback on requirements.
• Maintain test data, environments and execution reports.
• Mentor junior QE team members and promote automation best practices.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience automating REST API tests.
• Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure Boards).
