About the role
KPMG Canada is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Audit & Assurance practice in the Montreal area. You will lead audit engagements for Canadian public clients, ensuring high‑quality work that supports trust, transparency, and confidence across organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage audits from planning through completion.
- Participate in implementing the group business plan and meet assurance financial targets.
- Collaborate with practice management to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff.
- Apply KPMG’s audit and accounting methodologies on client engagements.
Required profile
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
- 5+ years of audit experience within an accounting firm.
- Experience with IFRS and publicly listed clients.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality service.
