Analyst Accountant (Hybrid) – Montreal, QC

About the role

The Analyst Accountant will support our auditing and accounting teams in Montreal by managing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards. This hybrid position combines field audit work with the administration of accounting systems and staff supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse balance sheets, profit & loss statements and financial reports.
• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems, including QuickBooks, Caseware and Sage.
• Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and internal controls.
• Conduct field audits to verify compliance with the Income Tax Act and corporate legislation.
• Prepare income tax returns and audit findings for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong client focus, reliability and proactive attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
