Audit Manager

About the role

KPMG Canada is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Audit & Assurance practice in the Montreal area. You will lead audit engagements for Canadian public clients, ensuring high‑quality work that supports trust, transparency, and confidence across organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage audits from planning through completion.
• Participate in implementing the group business plan and meet assurance financial targets.
• Collaborate with practice management to achieve financial and operational goals.
• Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff.
• Apply KPMG’s audit and accounting methodologies on client engagements.

Required profile

• Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
• 5+ years of audit experience within an accounting firm.
• Experience with IFRS and publicly listed clients.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality service.
