Associate or Full Professor (Clinical) & Director of Endocrinology Division

About the role

The Department of Medicine at McGill University seeks a full‑time Associate or Full Professor (Clinical) who will also serve as Director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. The appointment is a Contract Academic Staff position without tenure, based at the McGill University Health Centre and/or the Jewish General Hospital and/or St‑Mary’s Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care in endocrinology and metabolism.
• Lead the Division, overseeing strategic planning, administration, and resource allocation.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and didactic settings.
• Develop and conduct research programs in areas such as diabetes, bone metabolism, thyroid disorders, and metabolic‑brain interactions.
• Foster collaborative projects across the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Required profile

• Demonstrated record of academic excellence and leadership in clinical endocrinology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire best practices and innovation.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and hold an academic appointment at McGill University.
