Associate Merchant – Frozen, Pet & Paper Category

About the role

Join Loblaw Companies Limited as an Associate Merchant focusing on the Frozen, Pet & Paper categories. In this full‑time role you will support the delivery of product assortments, pricing and promotional strategies across our grocery network. You will work closely with the Category Director and senior Merchants to drive category performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with diverse business units and store operators to address inquiries and ensure effective communication.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and external partners to support growth and innovation.
• Support the execution of pricing and promotional strategies, including data entry, flyer/digital/in‑store advertising accuracy, and vendor income collection.
• Leverage analytics to provide strategic insights on category performance, reviewing trends and competitive activity.
• Lead product assortment planning and coordinate planogram executions while maintaining data integrity.
• Manage financial activities of the category, including vendor income billing, analysis, and resolution of income inquiries.
• Guide vendors on category initiatives and support retail pricing processes.
