Assistant Team Leader

About the role

The Assistant Team Leader supports the management team in daily store operations, ensuring a smooth, safe, and customer‑focused environment. This role combines hands‑on tasks such as stocking and shipment handling with supervisory duties like cash management and staff coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers in overseeing store operations and staff scheduling.
• Receive, box, and unbox daily shipments; stock products on shelves.
• Climb ladders to reach all store areas and maintain safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Perform cash handling, opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Track breaks, time, and attendance; support hiring and performance management.

Required profile

• Approximately 1 year of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Customer‑service orientation.
