About the role
The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) for its Occupational Therapy program. The successful candidate will join a vibrant faculty known for research excellence in rehabilitation science and professional education.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent research program, focusing on access to rehabilitation services and service redesign.
- Secure external research funding and salary awards.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in occupational therapy and related fields.
- Supervise graduate students and residents conducting research.
- Participate in departmental committees, curriculum development, and other academic activities.
Required profile
- PhD or equivalent in occupational therapy, rehabilitation science, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential to build a strong, independent research agenda.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and mentorship.
- Interest in addressing barriers across the continuum of care, especially for adult and older adult populations.
