Course Lecturer – Applied Clinical Research Methods

About the role

We are seeking a Course Lecturer to co‑coordinate and teach the Applied Clinical Research Methods (POTH 612) course at McGill University. The successful candidate will support course development, deliver content, assess student work, and ensure a high‑quality learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update course materials and syllabus for Applied Clinical Research Methods.
• Deliver lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to undergraduate/graduate students.
• Design, administer, and grade assignments, exams, and project work.
• Provide timely feedback and support to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain academic standards.

Required profile

• Professional training (BSc or MSc) in occupational or physical therapy.
• Master’s or PhD in a health‑related discipline.
• Experience conducting systematic reviews and scoping reviews, and teaching these methodologies.
• Health‑care professional background preferred.
• Expertise in measurement theory, implementation, and knowledge translation.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
