Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Clinical Epidemiology

About the role

The Department of Medicine at McGill University invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology. The appointment will be based at either the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI‑MUHC) or the Lady Davis Institute (LDI) and will support the department’s mission of high‑impact clinical and translational research.

Key responsibilities

• Join a vibrant community of clinical research methodologists, including epidemiologists and biostatisticians.
• Collaborate with clinician‑researchers across multiple divisions and hospitals to deliver high‑quality science.
• Identify and address methodological gaps in randomized controlled trials.
• Teach and mentor clinical trainees in the appraisal and execution of clinical research methods.
• Contribute to the Graduate Program in Clinical and Translational Research.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in clinical research methodology and randomized controlled trials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and other methodologists.
• Commitment to teaching and mentorship of graduate students and trainees.
