Assistant Professor (Clinical) – Clinical Immunology & Allergy

About the role

The Department of Medicine at McGill University Health Centre seeks a full‑time Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical) in the Division of Clinical Immunology & Allergy. This Contract Academic Staff position involves a blend of patient care, teaching, and education research within a nationally recognized division.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in allergy and immunology across three MUHC sites (Montreal General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital, MUHC‑Research Institute).
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through both bedside instruction and didactic sessions.
• Design, conduct, and publish education research in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Participate in the division’s research programs, including basic and translational studies.
• Contribute to administrative duties and curriculum development for the allergy & immunology training program.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) with specialization and board certification in Allergy & Immunology.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical practice and academic teaching.
• Strong interest and capability in education research and scholarly publication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with basic scientists and clinicians.

• Clinical expertise in allergy and immunology.
• Research methodology and statistical analysis for education studies.
